Reviews
This is one of the true 5 start reviews I can give in this area.
I came here with a group of 4. The food was amazing. If you’re looking for great food that you can’t find at a chain restaurant this is a great place to go.
We got the clam chowder fries - I was afraid this would be a soggy sloppy mess it was the opposite, extremely fresh crispy fries on top of a delicious clam chowder with actual clams.
We also had the tuna crispy rice which was done just right. As well as the cabbage.
For entrees we had the short rib pasta which was probably my favorite dish. As well as the branzino and the chicken thighs.
They have a decent wine list but no actual liquor which was fine with us.
The only things that I was not crazy about was that our table was next to the back door that kept opening and the hot air kept coming in and hitting me. I felt like I was sitting in apart of a service area. They also do not have the best desert options in my opinion. We did not order any.
The service was above average but not the best.
I could easily see this food being Michelin starred with a few tweaks.
Started off with a weird entrance, a little confusing. After walking from the parking lot to the front to find a sign saying the entrance is on the side, which it is in the back in the patio adjacent to the parking lot. As a new client, in their confirmation text, it would be nice to add this info (the entrance is in the patio next to the parking lot) or have the hostess station at the patio, vs finding a woman halfway in the restaurant waving her hand to walk in.
Once seated, the experience happened. Our waiter Chad was on point. He explained how the menu works, all dishes, minus dessert, the order will be placed at once and each dish served in the right order, clean plates and utensils between. He was concerned we were ordering too much. We explained we bring home half to our sons to try and we get to try more dishes this way.
He listened to my requests to find a drink as they do not have liquor, so I asked him to surprise me between the sangria and a mojito (sake based). He chose to order me off the menu my favorite, passion fruit mojito. So good I ordered 2!
Every dish was perfect. Each one unique. We started with the crispy rice The whipped ricotta was delicious, as preciously recommended by others in this group. I loved the clam chowder, with their was more soup and less fries or equal ratio. The charred cabbage was more sautéed then firm charred for my liking. The short rib orecchiette was pretty balanced. The thai red curry branzino was a little too spicy as the last dish. I would have preferred the spicy branzino followed by creamy orecchiette to neutralize the spice. To celebrate 17 years of marriage, we chose Chad’s top 2 dessert recommendations.
They do charge $1 for water. The check was correct. We had an experience feast and highly recommend this restaurant. Chad, thank you for serving us!
Great addition to the FT Lauderdale food scene. This restaurant provides a lot more than just a great meal. The cool and intimate vibes gives it an edge over all other places I. The area. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the bar. The service was top notch. They were so attentive and provide insights on their dish selections.
Food: truffle morcilla rice was my favorite, the cabbage salad was refreshing, the orchiaetta was rich and full flavors
They carry biodynamic wines and that was my absolutely fav 😃
This place is definitely a romantic date or group of friends who just want hangout and not have to yell to have a convo over a nice meal and drinks!
Must try while in town! Can’t wait to be back to try more dishes o
what a beautiful little find in Fort Lauderdale. Excellent service, very busy spot I was fortunate to fine one bar spot open on an early Friday evening. The arugula-squash-burrata salad was perfectly balanced and a delightful start. I followed it up with an incredible short rib orecchiette pasta dish that was amazing! It’s a beer and wine spot (no full bar) but a perfect date night as it’s intimate inside and more casual on their good sized back patio. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in South Florida.
This is an solid spot that’s perfect for everything from date night to special occasions. The menu is elevated, decor is welcoming, service is great, but the place isn’t stuffy at all. Felt very comfortable!
They have a really inventive menu with excellent flavors. Loved the carrots, whipped ricotta, and truffle mushroom rice most of all. I appreciate the off-menu specials they have for even more dishes to enjoy. Everything we had tasted very fresh and well seasoned. Server was excellent and the pacing of the meal was spot on.
This is a Fort Lauderdale restaurant that’s not to be missed. It has a creative menu without being stuffy. Doesn’t feel gimmicky in the elegance of their menu. The focus is the food, and the food is delicious.
Loved the clam chowder fries! The Yellow tail snapper was delicious! Thank you Chef and Katherine for an excellent culinary experience! We will return soon!
I heard so much about this place and I had to try it. It did not disappoint! The oxtail fell off the bone and the branzino was crisp on the outside and flaky on the inside. I left the restaurant wanting more. I highly recommend this place! Make a reservation because you will need one!
SO SO GOOD! one of the best places in fort lauderdale. Small, so make sure to get a reservation. You won't want to miss this restaurant! The food is delicious and different than you will find anywhere else. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.
